1987 CHEVROLET 3+3 CAMPER SPECIAL CREW CAB 454 BIG BLOCK (CARB & DIST. ) TURBO 400 DUALLY REAR WESTERN HAULER STEEL BED Up for auction is a 1987 C30 3+3 Camper Special Crew Cab Dually Pickup. with a Western Hauler all steel body with a removable center 5th wheel ball. and a receiver hitch at the rear bumper as well. This is a very special truck. built to pull that camper. race trailer. or boat. It comes equipped with a 454 Big Block that has a new carb. runs a distributor. and headers of course. It is backed by a turbo 400 automatic. with a dually rear end. It runs well down the freeway. and stays cool the entire time. The paint on the truck is very nice. with minimal bubbles under the shiny black paint. The rear body is plate steel. very sturdy. and has a diamond plate bed. The interior has had the front seats replaced with Lincoln leathers and has the standard rear factory seat. Carpet has been replaced. and additional gauges have been placed on the dash. Tires and brakes on the truck are good. it has nice chrome wheel covers. and all the lights work as they should. We bought this truck to pull a 5th wheel camper behind it. and after months of working on it. making it what we wanted. things have changed and we have decided to purchase a motorhome instead. and have no need for this truck. If you are looking for that special truck to show up at the track. boat dock. or camp ground with. this is it. It does need minor work. as all things of this age do. but. it’s the one worth putting money into as it’s not a beat up rust bucket. i have put a link for a video of the truck so you can get a walk around view and hear it run. which is worth way more than just pictures in my book.
