NO RESERVE. is this beautiful 1972 Chevy EL Camino! This El Camino was built during the 4th week of January at the Van Nuys. California plant and has remained in California since that time. Still sporting both Ca. blue plates as issued by the D. M. V. in 1972. This is a true dry climate vehicle. there is no rust or rot associated with high humidity or road salt. Has an unmolested body and frame. The quarter panels. rockers. firewall. cowl panel. doors. tailgate & fenders are original to the vehicle. The new hood is a Goodmark raised cowl and is all steel. Originally ordered Desert Gold (WA4236) This 1972 El Camino now wears a fresh coat of Antique White (720) and beautiful Tuxedo Black (919) Rally Stripes. Paint work was completed 3 weeks ago and it is of very good driver quality. The Rally Stripes were applied prior to clear coat for a super smooth look! All jams. hood. doors. and tailgate were painted as well and they look great! The underside of the new hood is as nice as the top side and new hood insulation and rubber hood stops have been installed. The doors have new seals and rubber stops installed. The body panels and alignment are very straight. the hood. doors and tailgate open and close as they should. New front and rear bumpers were installed as well as a new grill w/ Chevrolet grill insert. The original Rally Wheels were painted and new center caps installed. Tires are BF Goodrich TA's and have very good tread depth remaining and even wear. This El Camino looks new and shiny. looks even better in person!The interior of this 1972 El Camino is in very good condition. Ordered from the factory in Antique Medium Tan (720) it is now code (704) Black Elk CTO. Still has it's original front bench seat (A52) and has brand new carpet and the storage box behind driver seat. The headliner. dash and door panels are in good shape. Appears to have all of it's original glass. the drivers side wing window will require attention to function properly. Has a very nice tilt-steering column and a new Grant steering wheel. A new rearview mirror has been installed as well as a new dome light cover. Has a Super Sport gauge cluster as well. Some of the gauges will require attention to function properly but all are present including a tachometer and clock!The 350 V8 engine runs great and has no leaks or smoking issues. It fires right up and makes very good power. It has an Edelbrock carburetor and Performer intake manifold. Also was upgraded with a Delco HEI ignition. The cam has a slight lope and sounds very nice with the new dual exhaust! The transmission and rear end appear original to the car. The transmission shifts very well. has no leaks or other issues and the rear end is a 12 Bolt. Other factory options include power disc brakes. power steering and A. C. All under dash components are present. the firewall suitcase is present as well as the condenser / dryer. Need the compressor and hi/low hoses installed as well as a small patch on the suitcase housing. This 1971 El Camino will ship with a clean California title. bill of sale and a set of keys. It is currently registered with the D. M. V so there are no back fees due or other issues for the new buyer to deal with.
