1972 Chevrolet Camaro Z28

Description for Chevrolet Camaro 1972

This is my dad's authentic Z28. It's a 1972. factory 4 spd manual car with it's original motor. The motor has been verified to be it's numbers matching engine. Shows VIN "150062" on the block stamp pad and also shows "CKS" on the block. next to the vin. ENGINE RUNS STRONG. My dad had it rebuilt to stock specs and said it was NOT bored out. He just had the motor rebuilt the end of last year(Nov. 2014). He currently has it running from a gas can because he was worried the fuel tank might not be clean inside. The heads are original to the motor. The aluminum intake manifold is also original to the motor (looks like it has a GM "snowflake" manifold). The carb is not original (has Holley 4 barrel). I don't have the original carb. The distributor in the motor is not original but he has the original distributor that goes with. Cowl Tag is in place (see info below). I've spent some time around it and underneath and its's as solid as you can hope to find. I'm not kidding. Quarter's. floor. trunk floor. doors. everything is in rock solid condition. Has only some surface rust underneath. It's Previous owner stored this car on pavement. in his garage. for many years. My dad was slowly trying to finish assembly on the car when he realized his property taxes are due and is forced to sell it as-is. He put some new carpet in it also. He has some of the dash. He's got the gauges for it. And I don't know what else. Miscellaneous emblems and so on. The transmission is NOT original to the car. The transmission is a 3 spd. We do not have the original transmission. The rear end is believed to be original to the car. This car came from the factory silver with black ralleye stripes and black interior. It is now in primer. The car's body lines and panel fitment are nice. This is not a bondo junk and was never in an accident. I sold a 1968 firebird on here recently and the new owner was very happy (look through my feedback for that listing if you can).
