Designers continued the egg-crate design to the grille from the previous year and minus the Black finished grille surround. The Chevy "bow-tie" logo remained in the center. This half-ton C10 is a 115 inch wheelbase with a late model 6. 5-Stepside foot box. The interior Custom Trim Level features a cab headliner. extra sound & weather insulation and upgrades to the seating and interior trim. Well this 1972 Chevrolet is just that. It has been updated with a Vortec LY5 (special order iron block with aluminum heads) LS fuel injected 5. 3 engine. 700R4 automatic transmission and goes down the highway like a late model truck. 70mph at 1900 RPM. but with the classic 70’s look. The late model engine swap and restoration was recently completed with the truck only driven less than two thousand miles. The newly added Vortec 5. 3 fuel injected engine has received the important diagnostic tests and electronics setup on a dynamometer so the ratios and performance data are tuned for maximum performance and dependability with a performance range of 320 to 330 horsepower and 340 foot pounds of torque to the rear wheels The gorgeous paint has been rubbed and buffed out to perfection. Every detail was not over looked and with every look. from every angle. you cannot help but notice its craftsmanship and attention to detail. All the original trim moldings. stainless. and chrome is new. and a laser-straight body with a perfect stance. The new bed cover can be raised and lowered to show a flawless bed. Camaro Intake. a 700R4 automatic transmission. and stainless braided transmission cooling lines. Lokar linkage and a 12 bolt positraction rear end. The tube headers are mounted to new stainless steel dual exhaust with Flow Master mufflers. The truck is optioned with power steering and the 4-wheel power disc brakes stop the vehicle with confidence. The truck has been lowered front and rear using Belltech’s suspension kit with front and rear stabilizer bars. and new front steering components. The new 18” Polished American Torq-Thrust II wheels are 8” front and 10” rear with new Rikin Raptor ZP tires. 245/40ZR18 front and 255/45ZR18 rear. A new aluminum fuel tank. custom built by Boyd’s Welding. uses a high pressure submerged fuel pump feeding through a Corvette style fuel regulator mounted underneath the rear with stainless braided gas lines. four core radiator with dual electric fan set-up. runs 190 degrees all the time. KWIK A/C relocating bracket. which holds a Denso air conditioning compressor that pumps cold air to the cab using a brand new evaporator/dryer set-up made for this Vintage Air system to fit into the 1972 The truck is immaculate inside and out. The interior is original style with 1972 black custom seat with white/black houndstooth inserts. and deluxe style interior with all new tinted glass. The classic EQUUS instrument electronic gauge package fits the factory style instrument bezels.
