Sorry to see my 1965 Chevelle 300 Deluxe Station Wagon go. This car was purchased from the 2nd owner since new and it's in beautiful condition. Originally sold on September 11th. 1965 at Guaranty Chevrolet-Olds in Junction City. Oregon. nd it's spent its entire life within 30 miles of that dealership. in Portland Oregon. until I purchased. I have all the original paperwork and manuals. including the Protect-O-Plate. I also have one of the original day one Oregon plates in Mint condition. There was one correct color. closed door repaint about 20 years ago. The body and paint are VERY nice. nbsp;with only minor blemishes. The plant was not a Concouse level. but it's very clean. Only upon close inspection would you see the handful of tiny stone chips that occur with normal driving. The body is straight and the paint has a good luster and shine. The chrome is and bumpers and molding is in excellent original condition. (The rear bumper was not as shiny. so it was replated. and appears new). The grille. emblems. lenses and chrome. light bezels are all in impressive shape. The front windshield has a small rock chip down low on the drivers side. but it does not hit sight lines. (photo provided). The tires are new. nbsp;with only maybe a hundred miles since purchase. The interior is near perfect. nbsp;with only some minor cracking on the rubber. as you'd expect with age. but by looking at the pictures you can see it's in near mint and original condition. showing this car was cared for and treated right. The seats. headliner. door panels. dash. floor matting are all in excellent condition. All knobs. gauges. lights and levers operate correctly. The rear back up lights. wipers and original AM radio function correctly. The photos tell it all. The original 283 is running strong. and starts easily and performs beautifully. To my knowledge. nothing other than regular maintenance and service have needed doing. There was a recently added dual exhaust system installed and she sounds amazing! There is a very slight oil consumption between changes and only a drip on the ground. but the motor runs smoothly and has no misses. ticks of any kind. The power glide transmission shifts perfectly. Brakes. steering and suspension are all tight and sound. Front and rear suspension were recently serviced. and new springs. shocks and front end is tight. There are no pulls or vibrations of any kind. This car handles sweetly and turns heads. and is fun to drive. Truly Turn Key.
