Description for Chevrolet Nova 1967
This is a super clean. solid. straight and great driving vintage Nova wagon. This classic hot rod could be a family cruiser. grocery getter. surfboard hauler or just a fun car to drive. Non smoker vehicle. always stored in climate controlled garage with car cover. The Nova wagons are much more rare than the 2 door vehicles. I would not hesitate to drive this car across the country. I drove it half way across the US last year and it was a fun trip. I averaged 18. 2 mpg on trip that included travel through mountains. major metro areas and interstate speeds of up to 85 mph. Very clean car from top to bottom. take a look at the photos and feel free to come and inspect in person. ZZ4 350 small block Chevy clone motor professionally built. Power is estimated at over 350 hp-the car is fast! Lots of power and tons of torque! Speed Pro 30 pistons. Brodix aluminum heads. GM roller rocker arms. Crane cam. Edelbrock manifold. Holly Street Avenger 670 carb. mini starter. aluminum radiator. Basically everything under the hood is new. New gas tank. springs and shocks. Newer Optima red top battery. With the ZZ4 engine set up the car is a blast to drive and has tons of torque. Fresh oil and filter so it’s ready to hit the road. Eaton limited slip true posi rear end with 3. 08 gears. 350 turbo tranny professionally built with TCI torque converter and trans cooler. New rack and pinion steering Headers with great sounding mufflers. believe they are Magnaflows. Had a guy pull alongside me two weeks ago and wanted to know what I was running on it because it sounded so good. Car is regularly driven. Some small paint chips from normal driving have been spotted with original paint. Still have some original paint that will go to new owner. This project started as an original very solid Tennessee vehicle. I was told by PO that current odometer reading of 61. 83 miles is the total mileage on the car. By the looks of it I believe this to be true but do not have documented proof. New front fenders. New raised cowl hood. New front and rear chrome bumpers. Original floor pans are rock solid. Interior all new from dash pad. seat covers. seat belts. door panels. headliner. carpet. New Grant solid maple steering wheel. Recently replaced entire brake system with CPP power master and booster four wheel disc brake system with drilled and slotted rotors and powder coated calipers and new brake lines-you need to be able to stop safely and this is a great brake set up. No bolt. nut or screw was left unturned in this complete restoration that was done in the last 6000 miles. Sweet orange paint similar to Hugger orange with clear coat gives the car a great look and I get compliments where ever I travel with it. From young to old in age. folks really appreciate this car. I was told that the paint was never buffed out. I just put a fresh coat of wax on car and it shines really nice. There are minor areas that do not show up on photos that may clean up with a buff job. One tiny ding on the top of the fender. see photo. During restoration car body was completely disassembled and put on a rotisserie and rebuilt. new wiring harness added as well. Car always starts right up runs cool at 180 in all weather. even that hot NC summers. JVC CD player with ipod/MP3 input and 2 -6 x 9’s in the back cargo area although most of the time I prefer to listen to the great sounding engine! Oil and filter were just changed so this car is ready for another road trip! Wheels are American Classic Hopster with Bridgestone P205/60 R15 tires. Tires have approx 6000 miles on them and look great. This was an expensive build and the car will sell for much less than the cost of the build. This vehicle is an excellent investment in classic muscle car history. Not thrilled with the rubber windshield seal. no leaks as it is not that old but I was going to replace it. Just bought brand new chrome trim for windshield that has not been installed - it will go to new owner. Some glass has been replaced other glass is original and ok. minor scratching on tailgate glass. Headlights have been upgraded. This is not a show car. however. it really turns heads wherever I go. If you are looking for a car that is set up to drive reliably. safely. comfortably and with a ton of style. look no further. All photos except those with the car with the limestone bluffs and the old country store were taken in the last month. The only reason I am selling this car is that the next project is here and I am out of garage space. Clear NC title. Will assist with any shipping needs the best I can. Car is for sale as is in Wilmington. NC 28411 and auction will end early if it sells. $500 non refundable deposit via Paypal or direct wire transfer due within 48 hours of auction close. Total funds will be cleared before vehicle leaves my garage. prefer direct wire transfer to complete sale that is due within 7 days. Prefer sale to lower 48 US but my last Nova wagon that was on ebay went to Norway so I will consider out of country sales on a case by case basis and ebay feedback.
