1946 Chevrolet 1/2 ton pickup. A nice. unrestored 3 owner truck originally sold in Salem. OR. and used as a farm truck by the first owners. Currently fitted with a 1954 235 insert bearing. hi-pressure engine as the original 216 was beyond additional boring for a rebuild. The original 216 engine is not available but the original 216 head and many other engine related. period correct components are. such as the rocker assembly. starter with foot control brackets. generator. manifolds. etc. which would allow the conversion back to 216 configuration with a suitable short block. Original four speed. non-syncro transmission. Much mechanical restoration has been recently completed. such as a new wiring harness with alternator. suspension and braking systems. shocks. gauge rebuilding. new tires. etc. The truck runs and drives well. The truck has the typical rust along the bottom of the outer door skins and along the belt line. but the repair panels necessary to make those welding repairs are included in the sale.
