Chevy didn’t change the outside of the Pick Up in ’72. They only made changes to the interior. The Cheyenne package was mostly seen on the inside with nicer seat and trim. On the outside it had the side stainless. The one we have for you has the Cheyenne package. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior. interior. and heartbeat of the Chevy. but first we would like to tell you a little about us. Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned. operated. and own our entire inventory. no consignments. and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 50 to 60 cars at all times. We don’t have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So. that’s how we can sell for less than other dealers. The body on this truck looks rock solid with great lines and arrow straight panels. It’s done in the two tone paint scheme with the Tuxedo Black and the White down the sides and top. It looks fresh with a deep rich shine and a slick finish. The stainless is all new on the sides as well as a new grill and inserts. Also. the bumpers have been replaced. At the time of the repaint new weather stripping was added. The help update the pickup and give it a killer look it has a new set of 20” American Wheels and spinner with a new set of tires. Next. we will take a look at the interior of the ’72. Everything on the inside is done in black with the correct seat and cover. The door panels looks new as well as the carpet and dash pad. The dash all looks correct with the factory gauges and tach. A billet steering wheel and Pioneer have been added along with the upper door stainless trim. Finally we will take a look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood it is very neat and clean. It features a 454 V8 that is mated to a 400 Turbo Trans and 12 Bolt Rear End. The engine has had a few upgraded like and aftermarket cam. aluminum intake. Holley Carb. aluminum valve covers. and a chrome breather. The exhaust has also been upgraded to headers and flow. To keep it running cool it has the 4 core radiator. Also. it comes with Power Steering and Power Disc Brakes. When you look under this pick up all the frame looks solid as well as the floor pans and bed bottom. This is a great pick up with a killer set of eye and would be a great truck to cruise or drive to shows.
