It still has all it's original running gear. the engine. Muncie 4-speed. and 12 bolt rear end are all original to the car. All codes are there and match the car and Protectoplate. The interior and paint are very nice but not show quality. This car can be driven anywhere any time with dependability and pleasure. It rides. drives. and runs like it did when new. The engine is smooth and powerful and the trans shifts great. When you first start the car it does puff a little smoke. I was told the valve seals may need replacing. The 396 is a 325HP engine. The codes are: engine pad- T0205ED with vin. trans- P8A22 with vin. and rear 12 bolt- CW0205B. All these match the Protectoplate. The power steering and power disc brakes work just like they should. The radio is the original rare AM-FM that works great. This car is NOT rusty and has NEVER been rusty. It has been in the south since new.
