1953 Chevrolet 210 2door Sedan Kustom body off build. Frame has a TCI Mustang 2 front suspension with tubular a-arms 11 inch disc brakes power rack and pinion. the rear end which is a 78 El Camino 10 bolt Chevy with drum brakes. set up with a step notch and a 3 link bar setup air bags over the axle. The belly of the frame has been sectioned so the car lays out! Everything has been primered and painted black. The drivetrain is a fresh 327 ci. Motor with a 700r4 overdrive transmission with a one piece driveshaft. The 327 has a Offenhauser manifold with a new Holley 600 carburetor. the ignition is a Pertronix. Power Master 100 amp alternator. Aluminum finned valve covers and air cleaner . ceramic coated block hugger headers with 1 3/4 exhaust and glass packs which run to the rear of the car. Brand new aluminum two row 1 inch core radiator with a manual and electridoors & bear claw door latches installed . Power brakes with a aluminum finned master cylinder. and power steering. The car has a Mustang gas tank flush mounted into the floor of the trunk between the frame rails. The air ride setup is universal airbags with accuAir vu4 manifold mounted in the trunk with a chrome 5 gallon air tank . 4 up/down switches mounted on the dash to control the valve. Also has two 444 Viair chrome air compressors mounted next to the air tank in the trunk. The car has 15 inch 205 /75 radial Coker wide white tires on the front with 1957 Cadillac hubcaps on the front only. and 14 inch Coker radial wide white on the rear. The body has been fully shaved frenched headlights French tail lights with mooneyes lenses . door handles shaved with electric solenoid poppers on both doors hood has been welded and peaked. the roof has been chopped 4 inches in the front 6 in the rear with slanted B pillars. and a 1950 Chevy business coupe back window was added. All the glass was custom cut and the door glass rolls up and down as well as the rear quarter glass windows the vent windows are stationary. And the back glass is original. The grill is a 1953 Chevy that has been modified the grill bar extended with extra grill teeth added. stock rechromed front and rear bumpers. The beltline molding under the windshield was reworked so the windshield wipers are shaved and all mouldings have been polished a 53 54 Pontiac side trim was added. The car is painted with a suede pearl paint ( not a base coat it is sealed ). the roof and the garnish moldings are painted with a gloss pearl white with heavy metal flake scallops on the roof. the dash has the same heavy metal flake in gloss. All new wiring and wiring harness. nbsp;The dash has new white faced autometer gauges. gas volts. oil pressure . emperature and tachometer and viair air gauges for the air ride& a viair tank gauge as well. There is no speedometer . Also has new CD AM FM radio with four speakers two in the doors 2 on the package tray. Has a 23 inch Gennie Swan neck shifter which has been extended 5 inches with a bomb shift knob. Has a new Flaming River steering column with a 17 inch Mooneyes steering wheel with horn (works). turn signals and hazards do work there are no front turn signals on the car. The whole interior has all been redone in marine pearl white. Four white seat belts were also installed The carpet is black loop with Dynamat underneath and insulated padding . The car was on the cover and featured in a Australian magazine "cruisin' ". And was also featured in car Kulture Deluxe magazine. The car was also on a TV show "storage hunters" it took first place nostalgia custom at the 2014 Grand National Roadster Show in Pomona California. I have tried to describe this car the best that I could but I know that I am missing a few details this car runs and drives unbelievable. down the highway 85 mph no problem while letting your hands off the steering wheel the car will go straight! It handles very well and floats along the highway. on a hundred degree day the temperature stays at 180 degrees I have driven this car on a couple 500 mile road trips with no problems. solid car!! The vehicle probably has around 2500 to 3000 miles on the build which was completed January 2012.
