Up for Auction is this very nice 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu Sport Coupe Drag Car. This American Classic Car has been modified for drag racing. it features a loud and ferocious sounding Chevrolet Big Block V8 468 Cubic In Engine with a 400 turbo transmission. 4 barrel Holley Carburetor and Aluminum Intake. It has a Fluidampr harmonic damper. MSD Ignition. 12 bolt rear end. roll cage. front disc brakes. line lock for brakes. Centerline drag wheel setup. 6. 00-15 front tire - 29. 5/10. 5-15 Mickey Thompson ET Drag Slicks Rear. fuel-cell in trunk. and it has a 3-in Flowmaster exhaust with turns on axle. This model has all the options that the SS model including the SS badges. except for the dashboard being Malibu. Condition: Good cosmetic condition. The drag wheels are in great shape! The engine sounds tenacious! The engine is nice and clean. This car has signs of wear from prior use and age. the signs of wear consist of the floor pan is rusted through. both mufflers have rust holes. a custom black paint job that shows several areas of paint cracking. a few ping pong ball sized dents in the body that can only be seen when light hits it just right. a tear in the driver seat cover. a couple rips in the headliner. a couple noticeable scratches on the front bumper. passenger door has been sealed shut (missing inside handle. outside handle is fairly loose). back seat has been completely removed and is not included. the air vent intake is cracked in several places. the chrome trim near all the wheels wells have minor dents. the wheel well plastic shield inside the hood has a large crack. nbsp;the outside seals around the edges and base of the windows are all cracked up and need repair. nbsp;there are some scuffs and scratches on the finish of the body.
