Description for Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 1957

1957 Chevrolet Bel Air 4-door sedan. 70K original miles. I have owned it since 2009. purchased it from a dealer in PA. with all maintenance records since I purchased it. Third owner. Manufactured at the GM Baltimore plant. Always garaged since purchase. 283 V8 2 BBL (not Power Pack). not original engine but correct to period (as shown by code on intake manifold). This car needs nothing mechanically and is ready to enjoy. It starts every time. runs smooth and quiet. nbsp;with excellent acceleration and braking. I have done professional rebuilds to the transmission and carburetor with no problems. New starter. points/plugs and generator (another rebuilt generator conveys with sale). All glass is good. no cracks or bubbles. Tires have plenty of tread. All windows and accessories work properly. Radio needs to be connected. I haven't tested it. Electric wipers. Presentable interior is original except for newer black carpet. Optional tissue dispenser. The chrome is excellent. Minor ding on right front bumper guard. No rust issues. The paint is high quality. shows some aging but still looks great. Trunk is CLEAN and painted to match the car. This car is in great shape. is fun to drive and easy to maintain. I don't really want to sell it. but I have two other classics and have run out of space. It has the power and performance of a coupe or convertible at a much more reasonable price. and it is 95% STOCK. A great piece of original American automotive history. If you're in the area. stop by. view it and let's make a deal. This is a relisting. I've lowered the reserve price to make this more appealing to buyers. The winning bidder will provide a $500 deposit within 24 hours by wire transfer and a purchase contract will be forwarded. Payment is due within seven (7) business days. again by wire transfer. Upon payment clearing. the title and bill of sale will be forwarded by certified mail. Shipping or local pickup is the responsibility of the buyer. More pictures are available for the asking. Thanks for looking!
