1970 Chevelle Malibu Big block

Here is one of those Chevelles that is begging some one to bring it back to its former glory days. I bought this Arizona car with the thoughts of restoring it. but now I have bought another chevelle only this one is a true super sport with a build sheet. I thought about setting it aside and restoring it later but I just don't have room for it at my house. This car is in great shape. the floor and trunk pans look to be rust free. The doors. front fenders are also rust free. around the front and back windows look good. Basically this car is rust free except for 2 areas. the left rear quarter has 2 little bubbles in the paint. I did not try to see how bad it is. but I am sure it does not need a full quarter. The right quarter looks good. all the inner and outers are fine as well as the rest of this area. When I was cleaning the car up I noticed a couple of rust holes on the inside of the package tray area. but nothing in the trunk . Basically this is a great car to restore. it has been in one family its whole life and loved the Arizona weather. When I bought this car the owner had installed a new 350 ZZ crate motor. well I sold that and had a 396 cu. in. built for the car. The motor has been Dynode and puts out 375 Hp. with 377 lbs. of torque. In the pictures are all the parts and the dynode sheet. This was a 4 speed car when I got it. the transmission looks to be a Muncie M-21 close ratio. new hd. clutch pressure plate and throw out bearing. I had the new fly wheel balanced just to make sure everything would be right. This car runs and drives great. it needs a couple of small things done. like fixing a power steering leak. front coil springs. wiper motor and some other things. Here is a few things that are like new* Like new tires and rims (15")*Like new gas tank*Like new front and rear brakes*I put new mufflers and headers. the rest of the exhaust was like new*New hood*New aluminum radiator for big block*The interior has been recently redone and looks great*Can't say the same for the head liner. it looks new but a terrible job of installing it I am a certified retired mechanic that just loves to work on these Chevelles. so if you have any questions please call and I will be happy to help you. I feel my reserve is at a fair selling price. if it does not reach the reserve I will put the car back in storage to restore later.
