This car has had a full frame off resto with painted floors. This is a true Super Sport with the 138 Vin that has been restored to its glory days and is easily one of the nicest cars we’ve ever owned. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior. interior. and heartbeat of the Chevy. but first we would like to tell you a little about us. Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned. operated. and own our entire inventory. no consignments. and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 50 to 60 cars at all times. We don’t have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So. that’s how we can sell for less than other dealers. The body was pulled off the frame and stripped to the metal top to bottom. Any work that was needed was done and then countless hours were spent blocking to give this Chevelle a laser straight body. The panels were then reinstalled to ensure a good fit and everything was covered in the Bolero Red that has been buffed and polished to a deep rich shine. At that time all the chrome and stainless was either replaced or polished. Also all the weather stripping and seals were replaced as well as all the door glass seals. Before the new white top was installed the top frame was cleaned and painted. The top is power and working as it should. This Chevelle has many extras such as power trunk and chrome bumper guards front and rear. To finish the look off it’s sitting on factory Ralleys with red line tires. Next. we will take a look at the interior of the Super Sport. On inside it’s done in white and black that provides the perfect complement to the exterior. It has the correct seats that are done in white that flows perfectly whether the top is up or down. Also it has the correct Console with the Muncie 4 Speed Shifter with lock out reverse. The carpet and dash is done in black. When you look at the dash it has the gauge pack instrument and blinker tach. Also it has Tilt Column with the Rose Wood Wheel. Finally. we will take a look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood it has a 396 with the snow flake GM Aluminum Heads and intake with Chrome Valve Covers and the factory Air Breather that pulled cool air from under the windshield. The trans is a Muncie 4 Speed that is mated to the 12 Bolt Rear End. Also. it has factory manifolds and dual exhaust. If you’ll notice it has the correct alternator with the big pulley. This Chevelle comes with Power Steering and Power Disc Brakes. Before the body was put back on the frame they did a complete build on the frame with fresh black paint and all new bushings. Also a new fuel tank as well as new fuel and brake lines have been installed. As you can see this is a fresh resto that’s ready to go.
