You can clearly see it had 45. 4K in year 2000. but not quite 12 months later the shop incorrectly entered 145. 8K miles during the annual inspection Instead of the mileage increasing by a few hundred miles a year (as it had previously and has ever since as a weekend / sunny days-only collector car). the system is showing 100. 93 miles added to the car in not quite one calendar year (2001) simply by a technician’s mistake. Obviously the incompetent technician assumed this then 8 year old vehicle had rolled over without speaking to the original owner. who would have immediately corrected the error. had he known. To put this in perspective. the original owner would have had to drive the car 275 miles a day. every day. for the entire year for that amount of mileage to be put on the car in a 12 month period.
