1965 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport. Cowl tag shows its a true SUPER SPORT with an 8 cylinder engine. Madeira Maroon and black vinyl interior. It was professionally color changed to Black at some point. Factory air conditioning equipped. 283 - 2 bbl with Powerglide. Complete. This SS has had the same owner for the past 42 years. I have the 1973 Florida title in hand. I will also include a folder full of paperwork. maintenance receipts and fuel logs for it. I have not attempted to crank the engine over. It seems to have been sitting (inside) for some time. It has the original console with clock and many additional NOS parts. All trim comes with the car. I have 5 SS hubcaps. Bumpers and grille are near perfect. All 4 tires are new with the stickers still attached. All glass is in tact and in excellent shape. The interior is in great shape as well. Original buckets with the trim are in nice shape but could use a good cleaning. Original A/C dash and controls are excellent. Original steering wheel is good. Floors are really solid. including the trunk area. Rockers and quarters are good. The roof is good. Deck lid is solid and so are the doors. Car does need a hood. It has rust around both the front and rear windshields. Apparently all 65's had metal windshield clips that were installed unpainted from the factory. which caused them to rust. The trunk gutter is rusty and will need repair. There was damage done to the original passenger door as well as the quarter. right at the door jamb. There is a replacement passenger door on the car and it opens and shuts perfectly. same with the other door. hood and deck lid. Everything should be pictured. but I have over 100 photos of the car that I can send upon request. I have an extra driver's side bucket seat. factory dash a/c unit (controls with duct and blower motor). SS console. passenger quarter extension. tail lights. V8 flags. 327 emblems and various other emblems. trim pieces and parts that I can include for an agreed upon price. The car is located in the Tampa Bay area.
