Description for Chevrolet Other 1951

This 1951 Chevy Panel is a traditional old school build. It was put together many years ago but was freshened up recently. It was found in a barn in GA then brought to and woke up in Ohio. It rides on1956 Chevrolet BelAir Steelies. The tires are great condition. It has a fresh rebuilt 1968 327 4V Trans is a two speed Glide. Old school valve covers and aluminum oil pan. Holly carb. Electric fan. Griffin Radiator. Newer rear end and five lug conversion. Good seats and new carpet. It has new glass and and a windshield seal. The lights and signals work. What sets the build apart from others is this rig rides on its original uncut frame. What you usually find on many of these old trucks is a cut and welded on sub frame from who knows what. Not here. Straight axle just the way it was intended. Frame is solid. Pans are good. Rear cargo area still has the original floor and it is in good shape. Speaking of the rear cargo area check out the red safety container hanging. It contains road flares! The body is straight. It is an epoxy primer and the Hot Rod Hardware is painted on. It is far from perfect and still has dents and dings and rust and was left that way on purpose. It takes many years to age. Why remove everything? That is the spirit of a Rat Rod. If perfect is what you are expecting then you don't know what a real Rat Rod is. It isn't by no means. It runs and drives but needs front brakes. The intent was to install front disc brakes. It runs and drives. Has power brake booster but still needs front brakes and little tweeks here and there. It is an unfinished poject but a great start that needs your touch to make it what you want. Makes a great tax write off for your business. A vintage panel is realy the ultimate collector vehicle. Collector cars have only a single use. Think of it. You wouldn't want to haul a 2X4 in it. Trucks are cool because you can haul something. Don't get caught in the rain though. The panel can haul and can do much more besides look cool. Selling as is and as seen with the usual disclaimer.
