This unrestored Corvette is a time capsule example of the American muscle car era. The car was an L72 427/425 from the factory…. it is now powered by an authentic Baldwin Motion balanced and blueprinted L72 with aluminum heads. The Baldwin motor was special ordered and installed by the car's original owner in 1974. The 1974 motor has less than 3000 miles on it. The car's second owner was one of the first 100 members of the NCRS and the top Bloomington Gold restorer of his era. He owned this coupe for over 32 years. He owned over 300 Corvettes during his life time – this 1966 coupe and a late model Z06 were his only keepers. This coupe is the real deal - not a parts catalog creation. Five 1966 KH knock offs Factory original fiberglass with one lacquer repaint in 1978. great shine. no stress cracking Excellent totally original black vinyl interior. History from birth. Three owners including me 4 speed and 3:55 Positraction are original to the car No power or air conditioningNo transistor ignition - discarded by original owner - was unreliable.
