Description for Chevrolet El Camino 1972
SELLING AT NO RESERVE STARTING AT ONE RED CENT!!! NO SECOND OFFERS. NO SECOND CHANCES. HIGH BIDDER WINS THIS CAR!!! The current owner has had this vehicle for 9 years and it has been garage kept all that time. They are moving and will not have room for it in their new home. thus they are selling. This is a very well done Tribute SS/Super Sport edition of the classic El Camino. We have taken numerous pictures and super sized them all to give the most accurate depiction of the car. Here is what we know:1972 El Camino SS Tribute Car with a 350/4BBL. VIN indicates this was originally a 350/2BBL. but it now has a 4 BBL. Sounds great by the way when the 4BBL kicks in!!! It has an automatic transmission and has A/C capability. but will need some freon. I do not know if the it has been retrofitted for R134-A. but don't plan on it. The paint is not original. but is very nice. Original color of the car was either a pale yellow or an off white. Paint job was done well. We looked all over for indication of former paint color and all we found was what is seen in the pic behind the seat. Seat is in very nice condition. believed to be original. No rips or tears. Dash is very presentable and no visible cracks except for in the speaker grill on the drivers side up close to the windshield. No cracks in any of the glass. Has tilt steering wheel. Headliner is in good shape and not hanging down. Car has dual exhaust and sounds great with glass packs. It drove out very well and didn't miss a beat. No slip in the tranny and shifted fine. Has lots of get up and go. 4 BBL sounds great! Tires are meaty and wheels are nice Tribute addition. Bed looks like its never had anything in it and has been liner coated. Ran down the road very straight. Pulled slightly to the left on hard braking. Tachometer comes and goes. Side vent window handle on the passenger side is in the glove box. Gear might be stripped. You can see it is missing in the pics. We took up close pics of some very minor rust bubble areas down close to the rocker panel. Car has a couple of stick on flames that will come right off. Has a chip or two here and there. This is a very nice driver but could be a show winner with VERY little work on the body and paint. We have been selling on eBay since 2000 and take our reputation seriously. If you would like to talk to me or to the owner. send me a message through ebay and include your number. We can talk or do a FaceTime walk around. Thanks for checking out the auction and best of luck!
