1969 Corvette StingrayWelcome to the auction of my 1969 Corvette Stingray. I purchased this numbers matching car in 1999 and am the third owner of the car. It has the original 350 cubic inch 300 horsepower engine with matching 4 speed transmission which has never been out of the car. I did detail out the engine compartment recently. and added the valve covers that you see. which are original GM covers. It has had one repaint. Riverside Gold. before my ownership. nbsp;and still looks very nice to this day. I also just completely buffed out the entire car to a nice mirror shine. The car has not been restored. so it does have some flaws in the paint. There is a spot on the drives side front fender that has a bad chip where a shopping cart hit it. (See pics) It is after all a 46 year old car so it is not perfect but is a very nice example a classic survivor. The car runs. drives. and shifts very good. I do drive it on occasions in the summer. and it has always been stored inside during the winter months. It has power steering. manual brakes. original AM/FM radio which does work. The engine does have a small exhaust leak at the manifold where it bolts into the head on the passenger side. however I would not hesitate to drive the car anywhere. The interior of the car is very nice. with all the original upholstery and carpet. The drivers seat is starting to come unstitched in the seat bottom. The vent controls on the console are not working. The heater in the car work great. The wipers and wiper door work good. but the washer squirters are unhooked they are there. but where they hook to the wipers is broke Headlights go up and down like they should. The speedometer works. but sometimes gets stuck. not sure if the cable just needs to be lubed. All other lights work including the fiber optics inside on the console. Like I said this is a very nice original vette. And have tried to explain everything that I know about the car. This is a no reserve auction. I have 100% positive feedback. and have sold cars on EBay before. and everyone that has purchased them. have been very happy with their purchase. So I know you will be too. I require a deposit of $500. 00 down immediately after auction ends and the remainder when you pick up the car. Cash is always best. NO CHECKS!!! Bank transfer or pay pal will work as well too.
