Description for Chevrolet Impala 1974

This Impala had a body off. frame up restoration done a few years ago. Almost everything is new. It has not been driven. basically zero miles. Due to health issues the Impala never got 100% finished. Completely rebuilt 327 engine. 30 over. Vortec heads. Edelbrock intake and carb. Z28 cam. rebuilt powerglide transmission. suspension. All new brakes. however the car has been sitting a few years. Inspection before use is recommended. Interior is all new (except steering wheel). it is an SS interior but the Impala is not an SS . I do not have the original front seat. The body had a bare metal respray. some new chrome and new windshield. The mufflers are bolted directly to the headers so that the car could be started periodically. No other exhaust pipes are on the car. A new system will need to be built. The steering wheel needs to be refinished and there is no radio in the car. It is otherwise completely restored. The front is sitting high due to the wrong springs(big block) installed. original springs included. Alignment has not been done as the springs should be changed. I believe it to have the original engine block. stamped F0527S. The frame is original to the car. VIN verified. Clean Kansas title in hand. Car is located in Encinitas . California 92024What is this Impala really like ? It was built to be a driver. not a show car. It is very nice but not perfect. The huge body panels are a little wavy. not ugly but not perfect. just not ready for Pebble Beach either. The Impala starts right up and sounds mean and drives good. It has only been driven around the block a few times and will likely need a little sorting. Inspection recommended and welcome.
