Here's a 1928 Chevy touring. not a chopped up 4 door sedan. a real roadster!Body:Original 28 chevy steel body. all wood removed and replaced with 1"x1" square tube. It's pretty good for 87 years old. but by not perfect by far. There is some rust out in front of the rear wheels on both sides. 4 door sedan are the same and not to hard to find i you wanted to replace. The body doesn have pitting and lower cowl was replaced. The body is channeled over the frame. Windshield was cut 1 1/2" and tilted back. just looks cleaner to me. Modern safety glass installed. I have all 4 door handles. 2 on and 2 off was going to shave them for a more cleaner look. but that will be up the the new owner to decide. Custom rear nerf bar that holds the plate. Grill shell. cowl lights. and windshield are all original to the carFrame:Original frame to the car. It was lengthened 3" to have room for the longer motor V8 vs. 4cyl. it was swept up to help lower it. It has been boxed and had original crossmembers removed and new one's added. Frame is super solid. way over kill for a 327 motor! Triangulated 4 link with coilovers in the back. mid 80's S-10 rear that was rebuild and has a spool. Stock S-10 brake that are all brand new. drums to. Stock parallel leaf spring in the front. with an older MAS drop tube axle. new king pins with 54 Chevy pass car front brakes that are all new. New BFG Radial TA's in all four corners. bigs and smalls. There is a bolt on 3 point roll bar that is included also. just can't run the tonneau cover with it installed. Interior:Super basic. covered black vinyl seat. Original 28 roadster dash cut to accept 58 edsel speedo. Speedo is not hooked up. but wouldn't take much to do. New Stewart Warner gauges. temp. oil pressure. volts and fuel which all work as they should. Motor:1968 pass car 327. it's been gone through and added a comp cams 268H full kit. Hei distruibtor. Weiand intake. and a edelbrock 600 carb. Runs great. nice idle. sounds good Corvette style 2 1/2" ram horn exhaust. and full 2 1/2" exhaust out the back. Magnaflow stainless mufflers. It does functional have dump tubes that exit just in front of the front doors if you wanna make some noise and sound cool. 1965 powerglide trans that works good and shifts well. Custom made radiator. It's a fun car to cruise around in. There is no back seat. but it wouldn't take much to add on to it. There's a stainless gas tank in the back but wouldn't take much to put a seat over it and move the gas fill. I have put about 2K miles on the car since it's been built. It did have a different motor/trans combo in it. so if you are a manual trans kinda guy. it would be easy to swap it back. I will throw in the clutch slave and master. and it still has the clutch pedal installed. If it wasn't for getting my dream car this wouldn't be for sale. but I need the room and funds to build the other car. I encourage anyone interested to ask question prior to bidding.
