Description for Chevrolet Nova 1971
1971 Chevy Nova. A real survivor car. This is one super sweet ride! I got this car from a friend who has had it stored in a barn for the last many years. He said his Grandmother owned the car and when he graduated she had a professional makeover done on the car for him as a gift. The same family owned it over 20+ years. I believe the 51k on the odometer to be the original miles. This car drives so nice and smooth....it will blow you away how nice a driver it is. It just drives almost like a newer car. In fact we have a 2010 Hyundai Genesis and this Nova rides quieter and smoother than it! It is amazing the difference.I will cover as much as I can think of here but please feel free to message me with questions or comments. This is an original a/c car. Factory air conditioning that still works! It is ready for summer! Has a new compressor and blower switch. I had the system flushed, converted from the old system to 134A, and it blows cold. It is a 350 automatic car. Has a 10 bolt rear end with a turbo 350 automatic transmission. It is a column shift car. And has drum brakes. This car even has a dealer only installed air deflector under front bumper. Rare add on that was only available at dealer. I have never seen one with this! Many years ago this car underwent a major facelift. The car was completely disassembled and repainted to the current red. Originally it was gold with a black vinyl top from the factory. When they painted this car they did it right! Took apart everything to give it a completely new color. It was also given a new custom interior back then with a red diamond tufted bench seats, new diamond tufted door panels, and a nice headliner. All the interior is red just like the outside. Somewhere in there it also received a new Target crate motor that has an estimated 20, 00 miles on it.All the rubbers on this car are good. The doors and trunk rubbers look nice. I recently replaced the front wheel bearings and master cylinder. Floor pans are in awesome shape. The trunk pan is very good with no patch panels. This car has very minimal rust. I would estimated about 5% or less of the car has any rust. Mostly just normal places for these cars. The paint is not perfect anymore. It does have several nicks and scratches that have been touched up. The drivers side door has a bit of a crease in it you can see in a specific photo. Rear original bumper does have rust and you will probably want a new one eventually. But don't worry this car shows really well and this stuff is minor. It is a phenomenal driver car!If you are interested in car and a serious buyer with good funds.....please bid and ask any questions! Please check it out and let me know if you have questions. We are in Greenbrier, Arkansas which is basically central Arkansas, about 45 minutes North of Little Rock.
