NO RESERVE I have a 1972 Elcamino for sale. It is a factory U code car which means it came originally with a 402 big block. Unfortunately the 402 is gone and it has a 350 in it. I was told the engine was rebuilt about 15k ago. automatic transmisssion 10 bolt rear power steering power disc brakes. I have been told that all big block cars were SS's but I don't know. It runs and drives well. it has new caliper and pads on the front. The car was painted about 2 years ago by the previous owner. It is a Dupont single stage urethane cranberry red. the paint is nice. I consider it to be "driver" quality. It has a few minor flaws. the texture is like factory. It has never be wet sanded and buffed. That would make it nicer. the interior has new seat cover door panels headliner and weatherstripping. the carpet is okay but not as new. The dash pad has 2 small splits. on the exterior the following parts are new: bumpers grille grille mouldings emblems door handles hood all bed trim and moulding parking lights and I have a new set of plastic front inner fenders for it. the wheels are nice and the tires are in good condition. the exhaust was put on about 5 years ago. The car has been parked waiting for completion for the past 2 years. It seems to run good shift good. It needs to be driven. As with all old cars I am sure little things may pop up to address once it is driven regularly. i do not know if the mileage is accurate the speedo is not working and the title shows no mileage. It is a nice entry level muscle car/truck that you can drive while you work out the minor issues to keep improving the restoration.
