PLEASE Read Before You Call to ask what I have already written 1960 CORVETTE is being sold in AS IS CONDITION.I have owned this car since 1967 when my Dad had purchased it as a return from VIET-NAM gift. Engine And Transmission are NOT ORIGINAL. We replaced the engine with a GM counter engine which was a 327/365 - 327/375HP solid lifter .030-.030 camshaft Long block assembly engine casting 3892657 stamp # CE 3 53029 and a 350HP Intake # 3890490 and an 1965 AFB Carburetor 3721B 300/HP TypeRadiator is a 1961 HP Aluminum Car is a very early 1960 Vin# 100222 and had been a 270HP 2x4bbl Car with a 4:11 Posi-traction Differential which it still retains. The car is mostly stock Stock Steering Drum Brakes Correct Shifter but 1966 Close Ratio T-10 GearboxDistributor and coil have been updated to HEI however I have the 1966 Tach Drive Distributor which matches the Drive Train. Still Has the 1960 type 1102043 generator and original style starter. Exhaust System is new aluminized Corvette competition muffler stock design mileage is 51300 original. All exterior trim and panels (except hood and grill) are the original parts fitted to this car when built. Frame Suspension components and differential also are the original parts. This car has been a survivor which has been maintained thru the years. It had been parked as my family grew up but always together in good condition waiting for me to get the time to re-condition it as it was when I was 21years old. This was how I had it in the 60’s. The car has been refinished and is gorgeous in every sense all bumpers and front grill trim have been re-plated and in like new condition. Some bolt on modifications Grill is a 1961 and Hood is 1958 Wash-Board type. Front Header Panel Emblem and Deck Emblem had been removed and filled in the 60’s but have N.O.S. Emblems to go with sale also side scoop spears and cross flags have been shaved. headlamp trim is 1961-62 painted type. Undercarriage has been cleaned and painted car has never been off frame all in very good condition unmolested.All emblems and body mods easily changed back should you desire to do so.Interior is in excellent condition redone in with Al Knoch Panels Trim and Seat Covers and Padding Correctly Re-built (for those who have seen many bad ones)Carpeting was also Al Knoch Dash Pad is O.E Replaced in the late 80’s. still excellent good no shrinkage or fade.Convertible Top Cover pads and seals are also excellent also top bows and linkage restored at that time also. Original Wonderbar radio All weatherstrip in excellent condition also replaced with Re-finish Paint is Dupont Hot Hues Pallet Hot Poppy Red Pearl Clear-Coat Paint.Paint is also excellent condition Show Quality. Wheels are American Racing 17x8 with B.F.Goodrich 225/50/17 new condition aprox. 1200miles This car is dependable and drivable Show Quality but not afraid to be driven.
