Never wanted to sell my baby but Business is really slow and needs some money. For Sale: 1972 Chevelle Coupe car had just over 88000 miles when I tore it apart for a complete rebuild. Now has 2500 miles since rebuild. Not a "SS" but has everything and more then any "SS" ever had!! Cool Story on this car first owner wanted a "SS" but was too late in the year to order one so the dealer made him this one. It has had all the "SS" badges and Stripes since it rolled off the dealer lot in 1972!! Car was a small block automatic transmission but that wasn't enough for me. First thing I improved was the engine it's now a Big Block 454 bored to a 460 cubic inch Balance and Blue Printed it has a nice rumble Competition Cams Crane roller rockers Tru-roller timing chain HD oil pump ARP fastners used through out Balance & Blue Printed HEI Holley 770 Street Avenger Carb mounted on a Edelbrock RPM Air-Gap Intake manifold with a 100 HP shot of Nitrous mounted under the carb with Hedman Ceramic Coated Headers 3 inch with Flowmasters Mufflers March Performance single Serpentine Belt setup Classic Auto Air A/C With a Bowtie Overdrives 700R overdrive transmission Engine Dynoed 462 Horsepower with 572 Ft/Lbs of Torque on Pump Gas no Nitrous!!Drivetrain was completely rebuilt with Global West Tubular Upper & Lower "A" Arms up Front Baer 13 inch Power Disc Brakes 1 inch Lower Eibach front Springs and a Hotchkis 1 3/8 inch Sway Bar Koni Shocks has a Quick Performance Ford 9 inch Posi-Traction Rearend with 3.70 gears mounted with Hotchkis Upper & Lower Trailing Arms 1 1/8 inch Sway Bar 12 inch Disc Brakes Koni Shocks and 1 inch Lower Eibach Springs she Rolls on 17 X 8 custom Ralleye Wheels with Goodyear run-flat P245/45/ZR17 Speed rated tires Drives like a slot car rides like a Cadillac!! I was really hoping to Auto-cross this car it handles so GOOD!!The Interior is the best part!! Every piece of this green interior is brand new seat foam seats carpet door panels headliner! Console and buckets came from a real "SS" First Dynomat was layed down then the $15000 Alpine 1500 Watt Stereo system was laid out starting with a Mini Ipad mounted in the dash Love that BIG SCREEN!! 6 speakers 2 tweeters inside with 2- 12 Inch Subs in the trunk all highlighted with LED lights It Rocks!! It will make bad music sound good!! Sounds so good you'll take the long way home every night driving this car!!The base coat/clear coat paint is Sequoia Metallic Green (Original Factory Color) with White Stripes are buried in Clear Coat is 4 Years old shows some wear has some nicks but shines like a new quarter!! Car has no rust.The only left to do this car is to install the Classic Auto Air conditioning and plumb the Nitrous system from the trunk. The Chevelle was a factory Air car but I wanted to get rid of that BIG dog house on the firewall. The Classic Auto Air is a really nice setup with a smooth firewall uses the factory vents and controller.
