Description for Chevrolet Chevelle 1966
This is a nice driver quality 66 Chevelle Malibu Convertible. I purchased this car from a Classic Car Dealer in Texas a few years ago so I don't know the history of the car. I will list what I know about it. As far as I can tell it has its original drive train. Its a 283 with a 2 barrel carb and a powerglide automatic transmission that looks like it has been rebuilt not to long ago as its really clean. The body looks in good shape. The lower quarters have been replaced as well as the trunk floor. The rear floor has some soft spots that will have to be addressed. It has been repainted the originalAztec Bronzesome time ago as there are paint chips and scratches that have been touched up. It still looks presentable. The convertibletopSeat covers door panelscarpetingand bumpers have all been replaced recently. I have replaced the starter battery and the American Racing Mag wheels and BFG radial T/A tires. 225x70x15 on the front with 255x70x15 on the rear. I have a set of American Centerline rims and tires if you would rather have them. It has a manual top that goes up & down easy. All lights gages hornsdirectionals gas gage. wipers all work. The am radio is not hooked up so I don't know if it works. The top and back window are in great condition. As far as I can tell the drivetrain is original to the carand the body and interior are the original colors. It has power steering and goes down the HWY at 70 with no issues. I have taken it to a few car shows and people are taken back at the rare color as all they see are red black yellow blue and white ones. I hate to sell it but the wife says I have to many collector cars and one has to go. This car has had a partial restoration that can be taken to the next level while you are out cruising with the top down. It is sold as is where is with no warranty. The buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements. A deposit of $500.00 is due within 48 hours of Auction end and full payment must occur within 7 days by Cash or Wire Transfer to my bank.If you have any questions callGary 262 364-6993 Please do not bid unless you want the car and have the funds to purchase the car.I will not give out the reserve price but thereserve on this car is very reasonable compared to other 66 Chevelle Convertibles. I am only going to list this car once soBid to Win. Happy Bidding !!!
