Description for Chevrolet El Camino 1987
First of all. I would like to say that I love this car and it is the nicest El Camino I've ever had. I would really like to keep it. but circumstances force me to sell it. This car is rust free. Originally a California car. it has been in Arizona for awhile. I have a car fax on it . indicating an Arizona title or registration being issued in 1995. There are no problems to report on the car fax and it appears to have been serviced at a Chevy dealership for the most part. It was a one owner car until 2013 I believe. The guy I bought it from got it from the original owner with the intention of reselling it. I bought it for $ 7500. 00. Since then I have put money in it. having the carburetor rebuilt by a professional along with new vacuum hoses. 4 new tires. new window felt rubber on both sides. as well as reproduction center caps. Included will be all of my receipts. the original center caps. a new tonneau cover(black) still in the box(made in U. S. A). a fitted El Camino car cover. matching color dashboard cover. nbsp;as well as original owners manual and original owner warranty paperwork. I will keep the license plates. This car runs and drives great and is original. It was repainted to the factory color code some time before I got it. They did a very nice job. The glass is in nice shape(couple small blemishes on windshield but no cracks). The rubber around the glass is in very nice shape. The door seal rubber is nice. but not perfect. and the window felt rubber is very new. The doors open and close nicely and all the gauges seem to work. all the lights and turn signals work. Automatic door locks work. and power windows work(passenger side is slower than drivers side)The paint is very nice but it is not flawless. there are a few light scratches and very minor dings which were so small I couldn't get them to really show up in photos. Overall this is a very straight. clean rust free driver. Tailgate opens and closes with no problems as well as hood. headliner and seats are in nice shape and I believe original. The spare tire and tools are original. This car still has original radio and cassette player. I also have the radio antennae which I took off to have the car washed. but forgot to put back on for the pictures. The factory A/C works great and has been updated to R 134A With a Delphi compressor. Alternator and smog pump have also been replaced within last couple of years. Factory paint color codes are as follows WA-L8573 medium gray metallic(lower body). U8535 silver metallic(upper body). This parts code identification sticker is still in glove box. Original 305 V8. 4 barrel professionally rebuilt quadrajet carburetor. with fuel filter relocated in line. Clean Arizona title. The only problems that I am aware of are minor. They are as follows; worn carpet on drivers side. broken cover on drivers side interior pull handle. A couple cracks in dashboard. and missing bumper rubber trim on right front corner. "T"is missing on Chevrolet emblem on grill. Serious bidders only. thanks. This El Camino is being sold with no reserve.
