Description for Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 1956
Frame off restoration and lowered the body by 4". Currently setting on 4" blocks. We took the front suspension and posi rear end from a 2002 Camaro giving us a modified front end for its steering and suspension. We added a 4 link to the rear end. Went a little old school with the engine bling for the Hi performance 454 BBC and Muncie 4 speed crawler transmission and added an aluminium drive shaft. The 56 is dressed out with Foose 16". With the jet black base and clear coats it looks amazing with the fiberglass front end.The not so good stuff Note this is a roller. The engine ran well when taken from the donor car and the trans was rebuilt the clutch is brand new. We trailered the car but ended up scraping the paint just in front of the left rear wheel well from reloading it. The frame is true and body was completely gone through and undercoated. The Bumpers where rechromedOriginally the car had a straight six. The carrestorationwas done a couple of years ago but has been garage kept since I have owned it. I have to sell because I no longer have the funds and can no longer physically work on projects The remaining items are the interior and getting things running & finished the odds and ends including a near perfect set exterior of Stainless molding
