This car runs and drives very well and is ready to drive and enjoy right now…..In typical Impala fashion it just kind of floats down the road. The car was home restored in 2004 by its owner who has years of car building skills. The engine is a 350 with flat top forged pistons an aluminum intake and an Edelbrock carburetor. The engine was completely rebuilt in 2004 when the car was restored and only has about 20K miles on it since then. It is a mild motor and was built for cruising but has plenty of power to move the car around. All of the machine work was done by a reputable local machine shop. The brakes are nice and tight and the power steering works fine. The interior is very nice and needs nothing other than you sitting in it and working the controls. The underside is nice and solid as is the trunk. The car has tons of “eyeball” as you can see in the pictures and really is a nice driver.

THE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU BID:

• The front edge of the hood and the lower front fenders do have some rust bubbling (see pic’s)

• The hood and decklid have some minor hail damage (it’s small enough that I don’t know if it will show in the pictures)

• The filler panel behind the front bumper is missingA brand new one is $55

• The paint on the fuel fill door is bad

• The car had some minor patches done on the floorpans during the restoration but they were properly done

• The car was a good solid car to start with but required a ½ quarter on one side during the restoration because of some rust in the wheel opening lip

A nice running and driving car that can be enjoyed as-is without having to do anything more than basic maintenance to it…….AND YOU SET THE SALE PRICE!!!!
