This very original Big Block Corvette has undergone a very thorough restoration with the goal of being a reliable driver quality car with very strong cosmetics. The car is very well optioned beginning with the 390HP 454 Cubic inch motor M21 close ration 4 speed transmission. Factory air conditioning power steering AM-FM stereo radio and auxiliary hardtop. This is an original color code 974 Monza Red car with Black standard code 400 interior. The Hardtop is matching Monza Red.As you will see in our photos the body condition and paint quality is outstanding. We can see no evidence of any previous damage repair and it appears to have all original body panels. Exterior chrome trim and glass are superb. Correct factory Rally wheels are fitted with near raised white letter tires. The interior and Convertible top are all totally redone and appear like new. All gauges lights and controls operate properly.The motor in the car appears to be the factory original with a casting number of 3963512 correct for a 1970 454. Front engine pad is showing the correct build suffix stamp of T0312CZU for a 1970 454- 4speed and the cars vin 70S405337 is also intact. A previous owner did a full rebuild of this motor and drivetrain less than 1000 miles ago. Rebuilt to all stock specifications. The car runs drives and performs very well. All other mechanical systems are in excellent condition. Frame and chassis components are rust free all in very good condition. This car drives about as close to a brand new 1970 Corvette as you would ever find it needs nothing repaired or refurbished. The car is ready to be enjoyed just as it is.
