For auction is this 1948 chevy COE truck.

We hate to see it go but we are selling a few of our projects so that we can purchase an antique motorcycle we have wanted for quite sometime.

This would make a great truck for a custom car hauler or hot rod or rat rod custom COE pickup.

The engine and transmission are in the truck and the transmission is not stuck.

The engine would not turn over by hand with the fan blade but previous owner said he got it to turn over with a wrench. We could not get it to turn over with the fan belt so we are assuming it is stuck.

Truck has a clear title and it matches the Vin number on the cab.

Doors open and close but the LH door was swung open while it was being hauled on a flatbed and it put a crease in the cab in front of the door and it will need a bit of attention in that area. The hood opens and closes nicely on this truck and latches work great.

Dash appears to be all original and the seats are intact but will need some new fabric and some cleaning and restoration.

The back of the frame has had some sort of steel fenders welded to it over the years so you may want to grind all that stuff off and clean up the frame if you plan on using this frame for the project.

Great COE to start with and alot better that most you find that are unrestored.

Check must clear our bank before we will release possession of the Truck.

We can store the truck for up to 60 days to give you plenty of time to arrange transportation .
