Description for Chevrolet Nova 1963
For sale is my '63 Nova 2 door sedan. It's set up as a nice daily driver.
The engine is a '93 305 that's been rebuilt stock with a mild roller cam Edelbrock 600 carb andPerformer intake rams horn manifolds 2 1/4 inch exhaust and turbo mufflers. Aluminum radiator with a 7 blade mechanical fan.
The trans is a 700r4 with heady duty parts and an 1800 stall converter. Chirps second every time.
The rear is from an S-10 with 3:42 gears non-posi with all new drumbrakes.Stock single leaf springs and new shocks.
The front suspension is also from an S-10. It's been rebuilt with new shocks bushings and disc brakes. S-10 power steering and is allboltedat the factory locations.
Interior is mild custom two tone green to match the bodywith Plymouth Sundance bucket seats home made console with Pontiac Grand Am shifter. Interior and doors have been hush matted. New carpet door panels visors and head liner. Triple gauges in old ashtray location and mini tach where the clock would have been. S-10 tilt column Kenwood stereo and four speakers and a completeAmerican Wire Highway 15 wiring kit.
All rust has been cut out of body and floor and replaced with steel panels. The ugly Nova gas cap has been replaced with a flush mount door. The bumpers are new as is the windshield. New trunk mounted battery. All the battery cables brake lines and fuel lines have been replaced.
The car has welded in frame connectors mini tubs (will hold a 275/60-15) and upper coil over shock bar.
Wheels are Torque Thrust 15X7 with 215/60R15 tires and 15X8 with 235/70R15 tires
I had a narrowed 9" rear with coil overs at one time so it wouldn't take much to convert back to big tires. I left the clutch pedal in from my five speed days. It's there if you want to convert it back or just cut it off.
The body is a two tone green. It's about 4 years old so there is some minor chipping but I have some extra paint left over. It's a base/ clear paint job. It's not show quality but better than a five footer(just being honest).
The car is for sale locally and if sold I will cancel the auction
If you need more details or would like to check it out let me know. Thanks and happy bidding on a turn key car.
