Description for Chevrolet Camaro 1969
1969ChevroletCamaro SS Pro TouringTheCamarowas purchased a little over 5 years ago from San Diego while I lived in Canada. When I purchased it it was a numbers-matching car.Upon going tohave the engine rebuiltI did run into a few challenges with the block as a previous owner had bored it out and done a pretty poor job of it. So I had to get a new block and do a full rebuild on the engine (so it’s no longer 100% number-matching original). That’s why i went with a pro touring vs original. Since the rebuild it’s had about 300-400 miles put on it.http://www.1969camaross.us - lots more pictures of the car and the full rebuildHere's a few of the things that have been done
- Fully Rebuilt 350
- Hotchkiss TVS Sport Suspension
- Vintage Air AC System
- MSD Atomic EFI fuel injection system
- 18" Wheels (Custom Painted Rims to Match)
- Bilstein Shocks
- Fully Rebuilt Transmission
- 3 Speed Automatic fully rebuilt
- Aluminum Radiator
- Ceramic coated Hedman headers
- March pulley system
- Complete stainless steel Flowmaster exhaust
- American Autowire full wiring harness
- Carbon fiber radiator header panel
- Carbon fiber radiator struts
- American Racing Torque Thrust M wheels 17 x 7 front and 18 x 8 rear
- BFG G-force radials
- Dynamat complete interior and rear parcel shelf.
It also has a fully updated stereo system that is hidden from site as well as full alarm system. The factory stereo holes are still in the dash so if you want to drop in a vintage deck for looks you can still do that.Once the car was brought to Los Angeles the engine was rebuilt by Reed & Jeff at Dick Wagoner Dyno in Lawndale Ca.The underneath is painted almost as flawlessly as the top of the car.I have invested a lot into this car as you can imagine -Approximately$90000.00 - Detailed Receipts of restoration costs part lists etc are available.I would classify the car as a "super driver" - somewhere between driver and show car.Paint:Magnetic Gray Metallic (1G3)PPG Deltron paintStripes are painted and not vinylCar is available in LA for viewing by Appointment ONLY.
