Description for Chevrolet Camaro 1969
Most All Of Our Auctions End Early Call Us For A Great Price 865 988 8088Up for sale we have a 1969 Chevy Camaro Z28 X77. This was the bad boy of the Camaros. The X77 was more of a Hot Rod with less chrome trim than the x33. As with all Z28’s its’ a 4 Speed 12 bolt and it has a 302 with the Cross Ram Dual Fours. This car is fresh with new paint and most of the interior is new as well. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior interior and heartbeat of the Chevy but first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned operated and own our entire inventory no consignments and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don’t have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So that’s how we can sell for less than other dealers. To contact us for more information pictures or any questions call our office at (865)988-8088 or visit our SmokyMountainTraders website.
We will start off with the exterior of the Z28. The body is straight as an arrow with good lines. It has the 2” Steel Cowl hood. Everything is covered in the Hugger Orange paint that is accented by the White Stripes that are laid under the clear. The paint looks fresh and has a slick finish with a deep rich shine. At the time of the repaint they replaced the bumpers as well as other chrome trim. When you look at the glass it all looks good and has been removed and resealed when the car was done. The stainless around the windows appears to have been replaced as well. Also the weather stripping appears to have bene replaced at the time of the resto. The final exterior touch is the set of 18” and 20” Billet Specialty Wheels with new tires.
Next we will take a look at the interior of the Camaro. On the inside it complements exterior scheme perfectly. The seats and door panels are done in white to match the exterior stripes. As with a lot of the X77 cars this one does not have the console. It does have the Hurst Shifter and the Black Boot. The carpet and dash is done in black. When you look at the dash it looks stock with only a radio change and it does have the Rose Wood Steering Wheel.
Finally we will take a look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood it’s powered by a 280 HP 302 V8 that has 2 Fours and a solid lift Cam. It has the Cross Ram Dual Four Intake with Two 450 Holleys. Also it comes with the correct finned aluminum valve covers and chrome breather. The exhaust flows through a set of stock manifolds and dual exhaust. The engine is mated to a Muncie 4 Speed and a 12 Bolt Rear End. To help it stop it has Power Brakes with Disc up front and it also comes with Power Steering. When you look under this Z28 the floors look good as they have been replaced very nicely. The sub frame looks good as well as the rear frame rails.
