Description for Chrysler Town & Country 1966
I am reluctantly selling my 1966 Town & Country. It is a very nice looking and driving car. The exterior has no dents or rust. The chrome is all very presentable. The paint has a shine, ot like a new paint job, ut still adequate. The lights all work. The glass is all good except the windshield has some wiper scratches. The interior is in remarkable condition for a 50 year old car. The seats have no issues, ncluding the rear facing seat in the back. the carpet is like new throughout the car, he dash has no cracks, he steering wheel has no cracks. The dark blue carpet has a very rich look to it. Only minuses are the driver door has a crack in the armrest and the spare tire cover has a small crack. The power windows work on the front two doors. The rear door windows do not work. The switches tend to not work after long periods of sitting and I think they would work if cleaned up. I had this issue once before with the rear doors. The power tailgate window operates smoothly as it should. The am radio works, s do the dash lights. The engine runs quietly and smoothly and the transmission shifts fine. The brakes and tires are very good. The car runs and drives very nicely and is a lot of fun to drive. I am only selling it due to having too many toys and not enough playpen. Call with any questions and I will be happy to answer. Bid often. These wagons are becoming very popular and this one I think is exceptionally nice.I am adding due to several questioners, hat I have never messed with the air conditioning. It would at least have to be recharged. I do not know if it would require more work or not. Sorry.
