1947 Chrysler Royal 2-Door Coupe.
Engine C-38# 88657-251 Cu In.
Fluid Drive all Chrysler lines except Plymouth offered a fluid-drive transmission, eplacing the flywheel with a fluid coupling. The fluid drive transmission could be driven like an automatic, ut it was simpler, ess expensive, more efficient and more reliable than the full automatics.
Car Runs And Drive, ut at this point NO BRAKES.
Stripped to bare metal And sprayed with rust prevention and then a heavy coat of Clear Paint.
2 small dents in the top on driver side,1-small dent on passenger rear fender and a few small dents here and there just in case I missed one.
Trunk has the worse place a larger dent, hat looks to me like it can be worked.
No rust on outside of car!!
Rust in trunk and some in the front floors mostly on the sides, ook at photos close!!
Glass is fair and windows work.
The seat frames are in excellent condition.
The Stainless is near perfect and more then enough to do the whole car, lso a Extra Beautiful Grill that was bought many years ago and paid $800.
I have mostly everything to put this car back original.
For a car this old its hard to believe how good the condition is!!
