Being sold AS IS and as a 'MECHANIC'S SPECIAL'. BUT LOTS OF POTENTIAL!!
If it doesn't sell here it's going to the local crusher. It has not run in four years. I started it once many ears ago and it took some cranking to get it to go. Then it took more and more cranking each time to get it going, ntil it wouldn't start at all.
Was a turbo, .2L, he turbo has been REMOVED. Turbo exhaust remains.
NO BATTERY INCLUDED.
Please, o not contact me telling me what you think is wrong with it.It just doesn'tmatter to me anymore. It's an extra I no longer want or need or have any interest in.
Air conditioner DOES NOT work.
DOES NOT start/WILL NOT start. It will crank but will only fire on two cylinders once, hen just keeps oncranking. Three Chrysler mechs (one with 40 years experience) have diagnosed it 7 waysfrom Sunday, nd though they were told not to take extreme measures to bring it back tolife, hey cannot/could not, etermine the problem.
The pics are 4 years old. But the only changes in those 4 years are issues with the the
clear coat, hat has peeled off the tops of all four fenders and the third brake light
housing. The plastic bumper covers have also sun faded down to the black plastic, n
spots. The grill's in excellent condition.
Maybe you can get it to run or better yet, art it out. The body's in EXCELLENT condition.No body damage whatsoever, nless you count the little bit of rust shown in the one pic,and the fact the driver's front floorboard is BEGINNING to open up from rust. There is analuminum repair panel I made for that purpose, n the trunk.
It has a new fuel pump, ew fuel tank inlet grommet. Replaced many years ago, ut verylittle use on the them was, he starter ring gear, he alternator and the starter, nehydraulic cylinder for the top, nd the rear seat speakers. New pickup coil and dist. cap,ASD relay, REBUILT COMPUTER, hat works, ut DID NOT help to start the engine.
Two original 1988 shop manuals come with the car. Electrical Fuel & Emissions, nd, iring Diagrams. See the pics.
The original spare tire, riginal jack, nd the 'vert boot is included. PLUS a car cover.
The interior's in excellent condition, nbsp;just like the body. STUDY the pictures.
It has a Bloupunkt stereo with removable face. There is a pullout cup holder below the
radio.
The vinyl top is SHOT!! It was in SD most of it's life and the hot sun shrunk the vinyl sobad and so tight it's no longer water proof. It no longer meets the edges, nd snow andrain get in over the two windows. The top should not be put down unless it's at least 72above because the vinyl is shrunk so tight two people are needed to put it up and closeit, lus someone working the electrical switch.
Everything electrical works, including all four windows and the diagnostic center on thedahsboard. The headlight motor runs but does not close the headlight doors. The top motorworks.
There is a pressure release valve for the top hydraulics in the trunk, o the top can beput up or down manually.
Tires are in fair shape but have not been on the road in four years and are badly'weatherchecked', ut haven't lost a pound of air in all the time it's been sitting.
