Description for Chrysler New Yorker 1961

This car is complete and non-running. It has all of the original chrome and stainless steel trim. The interior is complete, ut will need refurbishing. The body is in good condition. A fixable dent in the passenger door and a very small dent on the passenger headlight eyebrow. The only rust is in the trunk, portion of the trunk floor pan needs replacing. I have added some pictures showing the undercarriage. As you can see the sheet metal of the trunk is rusted but all the structural metal is good to go. The pictures of the engine compartment show the radiator missing; I put it in the trunk. The windshield is cracked, ut the rest of the glass is good. with a battery the windows work, ocks work, nd lights turn on. The last year for Chrysler's iconic "Exner" fins. It is not a "parts car". It is complete and restorable. Has the same engine as the 300G, ess the dual carb. (413cc Golden Lion V8). The engine does not turn over but is rebuildable. Push button automatic. The odometer says 2500 miles but does not have a 100th place holder.
Buyer is responsible for shipping. The car is located in Fairbanks, K. I will help arrange shipping if needed. There are adds on CL for private parties going to WA and the cost is around $500 to transport a car to Seattle. Or you can set up something with a shipping service.

*additional note* I may be driving south through California during the second part of April. If I do I would be willing to tow the car on a dolly. Obviously I would need compensation, ut it would be cheaper than a commercial service.
