Description for Chrysler New Yorker 1954
Up for sale is a very decent four door 1954 Chrysler New Yorker Deluxe. One of the better models Chrysler put out in 54. 331 V-8 Hemi engine that runs well with current value of $4,000. Drives, Runs, steers and breaks good. Transmission works and shift as it should. Chrome is very nice restored prior to my ownership and right there alone is $3,000 worth of chrome work. Window glass very good.
Interior and paint job was restored 11 years ago by former owner and the interior is very nice looking except for headliner which is original and semi stained but no rips, tears or hanging fabric on headliner. Body is Rock solid, under doors, fenders, rockers, wheel wells except for a small area of rust just above rear bumper that is minor as shown. Full auto Tranny, clear title in my name. The restored interior cost a few thousands so my price I ask is realistic indeed.
This is one good car and worth some miner restoration to get it showroom again . Thank you and take care all. PS. I also have the name of a very decent priced Auto Shipper that I have used in the past.... PS. All hubcaps were also restored and are not easy to come by since they are original as well, no copies. NO PAYPAL, Cash in person or if not in person then US Postal Money order. Thank youTHIS IS MY LAST DROP IN PRICE, AFTER THIS I WILL NOT LIST MY CAR ANYMORE HERE AND WILL ADVERTISE IN MY AUCTION NETWORK AND THERE IT WILL SELL. JUST WANT TO TRY THIS FIRST.
PS. A lot of people have asked me if this is a road driver, the answer is :Not yet. I have not had time to do hardly anything to the car except put a new battery in, All I feel that needs to be done to get this full on road worth and to pass inspection for Reg for the road is to change the 6 volt into a 12 volt which is simple enough and to check the breaks and make sure they are good. The owner I bough it from had the car on the road only a year before I bought the car which was only 4 months ago now. The car came out of Cape May Jersey.
