Description for Chrysler Other 1931
This Rat Rod is simply AWESOME !!! It received over 30,000 "Likes" on Rat Rod Magazine's facebook page and has won numerous trophies from "Best of Show" to "Kids Choice" and a whole lot of "Most Likely to Get Pulled Over". It draws a crowd like no other car I've ever seen or built.....The best thing about this car is it's 95% new parts and built to be safe. The tires are Coker 16's in the front and 20's in the back with a 34 in diameter! The frame is custom built with 2x6 box steel. The subfloor is 1x1 box steel with new sheet metal. The rear end is out of a 1997 F150 8.8 3.55 ratio with the engine (500 cu. in.), transmission and four bar rear link is from a 1976 Cadillac Deville. Here's a list of the New parts - air lift air bags, rear shocks, lokar shifter and emergency break, master cylinder, proportioning valve, break lines, painless wiring, aluminum radiator, windshield, battery, fuse box, battery shut off, gauges, headlights, turn signals, flow master 10 muffler, lap belts, gas tank, steering box, universal joints, steering column, steering wheel, model A ford 48 in I beam front end, 11 in. disc breaks front, drum breaks back, shorty shocks etc. etc. Some of the custom items include a 8 pipe drag style look exhaust BUT includes a shutoff When you want a little quieter ride) to allow 80-90% of the exhaust to go to thru a muffler to the back 6 pipes out the rear of the car. I extended the lokar shifter for the Rat Fink look (a crowd pleaser), barb wire stitching on a 4.5 inch chop and barb wire spider webs, I also removed 2 inches from the bottom of the car and channeled the frame 5.5 inches into the body. How do I get all those new parts to look old - Salt/Vinegar and Water spray. I could go on and on so if you have any questions private message me.Why am I selling it.......I'm going to build another one ASAP.
