Description for Chrysler TC Maserati 1989
Up for sale is an incredible example of a very rare 80's car. If you are reading this ad then you probably know the story behind the TC Maserati. If not then I suggest Googling it. It's a good read. What I have is the rarest of all. One of only 501 made with the 16 valve dual cam turbo and a FIVE SPEED MANUAL transmission.Sold new out of Omaha Nebraska, it spent a pampered life there by both it's owners there. Bought new as a collectible, this car has never seen harsh weather and has only travelled a mere 29,000 miles! I hesitate to use the word flawless to describe any vehicle, especially one this old but I'm very tempted to do so on this one! Even the wheels look amazing and that's something that deteriorated early on with these.
Everything works as it should. All these cars came completely loaded with just a CD player as an option. This car was not equipped with a CD player when new but the previous owner added a later model Chrysler stereo that included a CD player ( I have the original stereo/cassette). The ginger leather interior is perfect with hardly a wear mark. The car FLIES and the five speed manual shift is precise and smooth.
Prior to my ownership the car was completely serviced, including the timing belt, water pump and accompanying tensioners and sprockets. I've driven it very sparingly since my purchase of it in 2018 but did recently change the oil and filter. This car is literally ready to go. My original thought was to keep the car for future appreciation but I'm realizing it does these cars no good to sit. The next owner will and should enjoy more use but still realizing it's rarity and value.
Purchase with confidence. Ask any questions you might have. I can take more photos for those seriously interested and the car is located in Abington, Massachusetts for viewing which I welcome. I can also provide shipping anywhere in the US for a very reasonable rate. Please only bid if you are serious. Those with zero feedback should contact me before bidding and a $500 deposit is due via Paypal within 24 hours of purchase with the balance due in full within 7 days after that.
