Idaho 83716This is a 1955 Chrysler New Yorker. If you like quality original survivor cars - THIS IS IT! This St Regis Edition has only 42. 00 original miles since new. This is an original Hollywood California car that has seen very little use until the last three years. NO RUST ISSUES WHATSOEVER. NONE. Upon the passing of the original owner. in the early 80s a collector in Rigby Idaho purchased the car and kept it protected just as the original owner did. Over the last year much has been addressed to make it a very nice and reliable driver. It has been on several long trips in the past year with no issues or problems. Over the winter. we had power front disc brakes professional installed on the car along with a new power booster and master cylinder. We put new correct wide white wall radial tires on the car. It drives quiet and smooth. with no tracking. The 331 HEMI fires right up with ease and drives great with no stalling or sputtering etc. You will be hard pressed to find an original in this condition. All original interior. no cracks in the steering wheel. the flooring and carpet is in amazing condition with no wear or tears. The leather and cloth seating are in excellent condition. Headliner like new. Door panels are very nice. with very little wear showing. The entire trunk and matting is original with no major wear and very nice. Mostly original paint with a few nick touch ups and passenger side has a couple very minor creases. We have not wanted to have them fixed because it would suggest something was being hidden and it does not take away from the rest of the originality of the car. THIS IS A SURVIVOR. This car has power windows and power seat. It was the most deluxe high end New Yorker available. the St Regis. At the Baker City Oregon show last summer. ( THE FIRST TIME THIS ST REGIS WAS EVER PUT IN A SHOWING) it won best original unrestored of show. and first place in participants of entire show.
