Description for Chrysler Town & Country 1966
Thank you for viewing my 6-passenger 1966 Chrysler Town & Country Wagon, quipped with a 383 cubic inch V8 engine and optional roof rack. It also features a power rearwindow, orking A/C and power seats. The original ownercared for this very special wagon from 1966 until very shortly before Iwas lucky enough to purchase it in June of 2013.As far as I know, the original owner is theonly registrantof this Town & Country over it's lifetime.Thevolume of recordsand documentationincluded withthe car is simply astounding, and I can only imagine that it is every piece of paperwork associated with itsince itspurchase in1966.The bill of sale and window sticker are included andwonderfully intact. This is an extremely special car andonce-in-a-lifetime example of the sort of stewardshipevery collector admires.
I've enjoyed this Town & Country immensely over the past two years and have only done a few minor thingscare for it properly. I got the A/C blowing cold again and upgraded the wheels and tires for both ride quality and appearance, ut I made sure to keep the wheels and hubcaps that were on the car when I purchased it. I also replaced the muffler which had passed its prime with a nice new muffler with anice mellow tone. Otherwise, ust general care and maintenance was all that it required.
I have owned and collected classic cars for the last 26 years, eginning with the 1969 Dodge Charger I bought when I was sixteen, nd which I still own today. I still own my 2nd car as well, 1983 Pontiac Trans Am, hich I drove from my senior year in high school through to my second year of graduate school in the department of English at the University of Central Florida in Winter Park, L. So my passion for classic cars -- and especially Mopars -- has been a lifelong pursuit and is about the most fun I can imagine having. I am an Oxford-educated motorhead that's been car crazy since bell bottoms were in style the first time around. And because I love to find, wn, rive and collect all kinds of classic cars, here comes a point when I have to sell a few of them to keep my collection manageable, r else they all don't get exercised like they should. I am a firm believer that cars should and need to be driven. And when I can't drive them all enough, go through the painful process of letting a few of them go on to new owners that will hopefully get out there and drive them more than I have time to. This is the reason I am proudly offering my 1966 Chrysler Town & Countryfor sale to its next proudowner.
Thisis a beautiful car with a wonderful history that is in incredible shape and ready to be driven and enjoyed.
