Description for Chrysler LeBaron 1987
Up for auction is a very nice Mopar Turbo Coupe the car is all there and in very good condition for its age. It has been sitting for the last2-3 years in a heated body shop. I bought the car last year with intentions of putting back to its original glory however I have WAY too many other projects and it is very unlikely that I will get to it any time soon.
It is the original two tone blue withonly a few rust spots on the lower dark blue portion could be fixed very easily and just re spray the bottom the top light blue would buff and wax very nice. Interior is very nice no ripsor stains headliner is sagging (easy fix) just needs detailing.
Engine compartment needs detailing as well.
Transmission was just overhauled (all new internals torque converter)
New Radiator motor mountsfront brakes andtons of service receipts from the previous owner (including timing belt and water pump)
Tires are decent
Starts runs and drives however will need some attention engine sounds great just a little sluggish (not missing not sure about turbo operation) That being said you are buying a very cool older Mopar project car that needs very little to get back on the road. May only need a little fine tuning or turbo waist gate adjustment???
Nice digital cluster that works great!! Shows 76000 actual miles! This is now an antique vehicle!!
These cars are very hard to find in this condition and it wouldnice cheap project car that would show nice at any car show..
It can be driven home but I would plan on loading it onto a trailer as I have not driven it more than a few blocks...
