It was a significant piece or automotivehistory because it got the French away from horse drawn rides into the people’scar. It was the first front wheel drive car to exceed 1 million units ofproduction. Often called "an umbrella on wheels” hasa roll back canvas top because steel was hard to come by after WWII. This car (VIN VF7AZKA00KA121186) is an ’86 Special and runs great. It is the larger air-cooled engine making 29HP and can function on today’s highways.It was repainted red about 10 years ago and it has some patina as wouldbe expected on a 40 year old car. The paint is really very good with no rust. The Michelin tires are like new and the brakeswere gone thru in 2019. The top was replacedand the seats were recovered at that time as well. All the lights and gauges work. It has 97000 kilometers (about 61000 miles) -a couple thousand of which were put on by me.I have driven the car to lots of car shows and enjoyed it but it is timefor me to move on. You could drive it toits new home or I will help with transportation for $1.50/mile.
