1972 Datsun 240Z stock, 2 owner, runs great, body good condition

Description for Datsun Z-Series 1972

My Mom custom ordered this from the factory in 1972. Factory airconditioner which works. Black vinyl roof. Chrome sport bars on the rear. Black pin striping. Special wheels. Wood steering wheel and wood stick shifter knob. I have tried to keep this stock all these years. The only thing not stock is the seats. Got those upolstered years ago, hat black nagahyde was horrible to sit on. The foam in the seats probably needs redoing at this point. I do have a repair record since 1996. This car runs great. I have to admit it hates the ethanol treated gas. Remember this car was made to run on 104 Ethyl fuel and 92 octane with ethanol (water) is not a good match. I use lead and octane additives and she will run fine. Body is in pretty good shape, inimal rust and solid frame. I had it painted oranage in 1982 ish when I bought it from my Mom. I had it painted again in the late 90's when I had a lot of rusted body parts replaced. In the early 2000's I quit driving it as my main car and then only drove it in the summer months. Semi-retired baby. No accidents since my Mom did way, ay back in the 70's. She drives straight and true. I am selling because, find I dont drive it much anymore and it seems such a shame.
