Description for Datsun Z-Series 1973

Mostly original, includes a lot of cool original bits that often get lost or separated from the car.Has complete original tool kit, spare tire, original set of steel wheels, 2 original keys, owners manual, warranty booklet and card
This was a father son project that we rebuilt the engine on, rebuild was completed in 2002 I believe at about 95,000 milesWas working and parked in 09 because a coolant line that runs to the heater needed replaced and I thought it was time to take on the bodyworkanyway. Time progressed as it tends to and here it still sits and I'm moving so the Datsun must go
Installed modifications"Roundtop" Carburetors from 69-72 240zFlywheel lightened a very conservative amount, can't remember the exact figure but I recall stressing out about the decision and only having it lightened a little bitElectronic distributor from a 280zMSD 6a ignition, coil, and tach adapterAlternator from a 300zx to power all that stuff
Not installed but includedR190 k differential with4.37:1 gear ratio (front diff from Datsun 720 pickup)
5 speed transmission from81-83 280z (Rear was damaged in shipping, was quoted that it could be a max of 300$ for insurance claim with shipping co or if you had a good rear section from another trans)
Original Equipment that is included but not installed(this is all in rough condition and will most likely need work to function)Air pump and bracketEGR equipment (I think thats what it is, but uncertain)Square topCarburetorsOriginal steel wheelsMisc
MechanicalStarts and idles smooth but no resistance pushing in the clutch and wont go into gear (does go into gear with engine off), probably a rusted through hydraulic line. All gas was drained when it was parked and was treated with fogging oil. Exhaust is smokey but could be the fogging oil burning offAround the time of the rebuild the gas tank was cleaned and resealed and still look in good conditionTo my knowledge the odometer has only rolled over once
ExteriorFloorboards and frame has quite a bit of rust, floorboards are rusted throughPass side door is dented, was backed into while parkedI believe it was in an accident but the previous owner was not forthcoming about it. The frame seems straight but there is a small spot where it's kind of puckered is the best way I can describe it, it's the blueish picture that is commented frame pucker.Windshieldhas crack running top to bottom
InteriorDash is cracked around the aux gages and is picturedDriver's seat is tornShould be complete or nearly complete and original, floor matsare in rough shape andgenericones are includedElectronics still all seem to work, even the power antenna raises and lowers.Lights all work with the exception to the right turn does not flash and there is a bulb out in the rear right
