1974 Datsun 260z. 6 Cylinder with Automatic transmission . This car has been sitting in a garage and hasn't been started since 1992! Needless to say this car will need a full restoration to bring it back to its former glory. Odometer reads 90,538 which is believed to be original . I recently acquired the car from the second owner who was a relative of the original owner and he had it since 1984. The previous/original owner is said to be former NBA great Nate Thurmond ( check the pic of the personalized plate). I have no reason to doubt this story but I have no proof either. The car was a daily driver until 1992 when the car was involved in a fender bender. It was parked after that and sat ever since . The hood and front bumper will need repair or replacement . The rest of the body is straight and solid. I don't see any rust on the car. The car was repaintedin the 80's but retains the original color.Interior needs work, it looks like it had some custom seat and door panel upholstery otherwise everything appears original. Mechanically all I can say is everything is there. The car rolls and the engine turns. The brakes have no pressure . I replaced a couple of tires because the old ones were rotted.
