1981 Delorean DMC-12 Excellent Project Clean CarFax 5-Speed Manual Transmission 26,535 Miles Vin # SCEDT26T8BD004398 Evolve Motors & Chicago Car Club are pleased to present this 1981 Delorean DMC-12! We purchased this Delorean from a gentleman in the Carolinas, who had been slowly working on converting the car from fuel injected to carbureted then abandoned ship mid-way through the job. As it sits, this car is not running, but is largely complete and has a lot of good things going for it. The stainless steel body panels are in very nice shape, and the seats are excellent. Brakes are good, as is the clutch. Aside from the fact that it’s not currently running, the only real flaws we can point out are a cracked dashboard, old tires, and fading black plastic trim pieces. For somebody looking for an interesting project that will not require paint or extensive body work, this is an excellent choice. As far as the condition of the car, please take a good look through the photos and give the video a watch, as the car is documented in detail. Underbody is in excellent shape with no damage.
